Matthew Palentchar, Attorney at Law

Matthew Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida since several areas, although his current law practice specializes in real estate, corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law. He has come a long way from his childhood in Colonia, NJ, where he spent most of his time playing organized sports like baseball, basketball, football and soccer. Following high school, he earned a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and then obtained a scholarship to attend Ohio Northern University, where he earned his Juris Doctor, or law degree. That’s when he passed the bar exam.

After starting his career as a lawyer with a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida and soon formed Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran from 2005 through 2010, until a terrible illness and a few other personal issues forced him to leave Florida for a time. However, when he recovered, he returned to Florida and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he lives now with his wife Heather and their two dogs. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matt also likes to spend his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.
Taking on challenges can be a great reflection of a person’s work ethic and Matt Palentchar has always been one to embrace challenges. After receiving his undergraduate from Rutgers University - New Brunswick and his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University, he founded his own business and was on his way to becoming a successful attorney.
